Description

Macadamia Nut is a highly valued nut-producing tree, known for its rich and buttery nuts. The best part of this tree is its potential to yield a large harvest, with nuts being produced annually once the tree reaches maturity. The nuts are encased in a hard shell and have a creamy, slightly sweet taste. The tree has glossy, dark green leaves and can grow to a significant size. Macadamia nuts are not only delicious but also packed with healthy fats and nutrients, making them a popular choice for snacking and cooking.

Growing Tips

  • Sunlight: Provide full sunlight for optimal growth and nut production.
  • Soil: Plant in well-drained soil, either in a large pot or directly in the ground.
  • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but avoid overwatering. Macadamia plants prefer slightly acidic to neutral pH levels.
  • Mulching: Apply organic mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
  • Pruning: Prune the tree regularly to maintain its shape and remove any dead or damaged branches.
  • Fertilizer: Use a balanced, slow-release organic fertilizer once every 3-4 months to promote healthy growth and nut production.
  • TEMPERATURE - Between 16-32 Degree Celsius.

MAXIMUM HEIGHT - It can reach up to 10 meters when planted in the ground, but it can be pruned to a smaller size if grown in a pot.

FRUITING TIME - The tree will start producing nuts after 6-7 years of planting.

Fertilizer - Organic fertilizer once every 3-4 months.
